What Your Agent Does In Notion
-
Pull Action Items From Your Notes
After a meeting, your agent reads the notes, pulls out each action item and adds it to your tasks database with an owner and a due date, linked back to the notes.
-
Answer Questions From Your Pages
Ask how holiday cover works or what was decided about the new logo. Your agent searches your pages and databases and answers with links to where it found it.
-
Sum Up The Week In One Page
Each week your agent reads your project database and drafts a short update: what got done, what’s late and what’s next. You read it before anyone else sees it.
-
File Requests Where They Belong
Bug reports, feedback and requests from email or chat become entries in the right database, tagged and assigned, and checked against what’s already there.
Ask In Your Own Words
Type it in any project chat, or send it from your phone. Your agent works in Notion for you, with your own login, and reports back in the thread.
- Here are my notes from the Monday sync. Make tasks for everyone and link them to the launch page.
- What’s our process when a client wants to pause their contract?
- Draft this week’s update for the website project and put it in Weekly Updates.
- Maria sent three bug reports by email. Add them to the Bugs database.
- Which of Jake’s tasks are overdue?

Questions About Notion And Your Agents
Does it see my whole workspace?
Your own member account in the workspace. The agent sees the pages you can see, so if you want it kept out of HR or finance pages, connect an account that can’t open them.
Can it change how my databases are built?
It fills in and updates entries, statuses and dates. Adding or removing properties, or changing a database’s setup, asks first, since other pages and views may depend on them.
What if it gets something wrong?
Notion keeps a page history, so you can see each edit your agent made and go back to an earlier version. How far back depends on your Notion plan.
Does my agent see my Notion password?
No. Your Notion login stays in your Vault, a safe your agents can use but never read. You can remove an agent’s access, or disconnect Notion, at any time in Settings.
