What Your Agent Does In Microsoft Word
-
Turn Notes Into A First Draft
Hand your agent rough notes, an old proposal or a client email. It writes the draft in your own Word template, keeping your headings, styles and numbering.
-
Work Through Review Comments
Your agent reads each comment, makes the change as a tracked edit and replies in the thread with what it did. You accept or reject every edit in Word.
-
Fix Headings, Numbering And Fonts
Pasted text in mixed fonts, numbering that restarts out of nowhere, a contents page that misses a section. Your agent puts the right styles back across the whole document and refreshes the contents.
-
Sum Up Long Documents
Ask what a long report or policy says about one topic. Your agent answers with the section it came from and lists the decisions and action items it found.
Ask In Your Own Words
Type it in any project chat, or send it from your phone. Your agent works in Microsoft Word for you, with your own login, and reports back in the thread.
- Turn my notes from Tom’s call into a proposal using last month’s template.
- Sarah left comments all over the handbook. Go through them and make the edits as tracked changes.
- The numbering in the lease agreement goes wrong after section four. Can you fix it?
- What does the employee handbook say about overtime?
- Make the intro to Mike’s report shorter and less formal.

Questions About Microsoft Word And Your Agents
Does it work with Word on my computer?
Your agent works in Word for the web, in its own browser, signed in with your Microsoft 365 account. Documents saved in OneDrive or SharePoint are the same files you open in desktop Word.
Will it change my document without me seeing?
Ask for tracked changes and every edit shows up for you to accept or reject. Word’s version history also keeps the earlier copies.
Can it open every file in my OneDrive?
It can open what the Microsoft 365 account you sign in with can open. Use an account with narrower access if you want it to see less.
Does my agent see my Microsoft Word password?
No. Your Microsoft Word login stays in your Vault, a safe your agents can use but never read. You can remove an agent’s access, or disconnect Microsoft Word, at any time in Settings.
