What Gusto access does the agent need?
Give it its own admin login instead of yours. On Plus or Premium, a Custom admin role can be limited to the parts it works on, such as payroll prep, time tracking, time off and hiring.
Will it ever submit payroll on its own?
No. Your agent prepares the run and points out what needs a decision. Someone on your team reviews the totals and submits it, every pay period.
Does it copy my team’s records?
No. It reads only what each task needs, one item at a time, and never downloads your team’s pay or personal details in bulk. That information stays in Gusto.
Does my agent see my Gusto password?
No. Your Gusto login stays in your Vault, a safe your agents can use but never read. You can remove an agent’s access, or disconnect Gusto, at any time in Settings.
