What Your Agent Does In Squarespace
-
Works Through Orders
It lists new orders, flags ones with an incomplete shipping address and marks orders as fulfilled when you confirm the tracking number.
-
Updates Product Pages
Tell it the candle set has a new scent and it edits the product description, the variant list and the image captions together.
-
Drafts Posts And Pages
Give it a few notes about the spring open house and it writes a blog post in your voice, saved as an unpublished draft.
Ask In Your Own Words
Type it in any project chat, or send it from your phone. Your agent works in Squarespace for you, with your own login, and reports back in the thread.
- Show me new orders where the address looks incomplete.
- Add the lavender scent to the candle set page.
- Write a draft post about the spring open house.

Questions About Squarespace And Your Agents
Can the agent publish to my live site?
It can, if you allow it. By default it saves drafts and asks you before anything goes live.
Does it see my customers’ details?
It sees orders and customer records the connected account can see, and only works with them for the jobs you give it.
Does my agent see my Squarespace password?
No. Your Squarespace login stays in your Vault, a safe your agents can use but never read. You can remove an agent’s access, or disconnect Squarespace, at any time in Settings.
