What Your Agent Does In Stripe
-
See What Happened To A Payment
Ask about any customer and your agent looks it up in Stripe: whether the payment went through, why a card was declined and whether any money was already sent back, with a link to each charge.
-
Follow Up On Failed Charges
Your agent lists the subscriptions whose payments failed, separates the ones worth retrying from cards that need replacing, and drafts a kind note to each customer. Retrying a charge waits for your OK.
-
Build Your Dispute Response
When a customer disputes a charge, your agent gathers the receipt, proof of delivery, your policy and past emails into one short response before the deadline. You read it and decide whether to submit.
-
Draft Invoices And Payment Links
Describe the job in a sentence and your agent drafts the Stripe invoice or payment link with the right customer, items and due date. Nothing reaches the customer until you say so.
Ask In Your Own Words
Type it in any project chat, or send it from your phone. Your agent works in Stripe for you, with your own login, and reports back in the thread.
- Did Mike’s payment go through this morning? He says his card was charged twice.
- Whose card payments bounced this week, and which ones are worth trying again?
- Sarah Chen disputed her October order. Pull together what we need to answer it.
- Make a payment link for Lisa’s two-hour coaching session and show it to me first.
- How much came in last week after Stripe’s fees?

Questions About Stripe And Your Agents
Which Stripe login should the agent use?
Connect a team member login with a limited role instead of the owner login. A View only role is enough for answers; the Analyst role also lets it prepare dispute responses for you.
Will it message my customers on its own?
No. Notes about failed cards and invoice emails start as drafts. Your agent sends them one at a time after you approve, never as a mass mailing.
Who decides whether to fight a dispute?
You do. Your agent explains the reason the customer gave, the evidence you have and the deadline, then drafts the response. The customer’s bank makes the final decision.
Does my agent see my Stripe password?
No. Your Stripe login stays in your Vault, a safe your agents can use but never read. You can remove an agent’s access, or disconnect Stripe, at any time in Settings.
