How it works
- 1. Apply Sign in to Octopus Prime, open Settings, then Affiliate, and tell us where your audience is. We read every application.
- 2. Share your link or code Once you’re approved you get one link and one code. The code doesn’t give anyone a discount. It tells us the customer came from you.
- 3. Earn for 3 months You get 50% of the plan price each customer you refer pays, for their first 3 paid months.
- 4. Get paid monthly Each commission waits 30 days in case the payment is reversed, then goes out with the monthly payout through Stripe once your balance reaches $25.
What you earn per customer
50% of the plan price for 3 paid months, on monthly billing:
- Personal plan, $10 a month $15 $5 a month for 3 months
- Team plan, $29 a month $43.50 $14.50 a month for 3 months
- Business plan, $79 a month $118.50 $39.50 a month for 3 months
Commission is worked out on what the customer pays after Stripe’s processing fee and without tax, so the amounts you receive come out a little lower than these.

The terms, in short
- What earns Plan prices only. Add-ons, voice minutes, Computer backup and setup or support services don’t earn commission. Nothing is earned after the third paid month.
- Who counts as yours A customer who signs up with your link or code and pays. If they clicked more than one affiliate link, the last one counts. You can’t refer yourself or a company you own.
- The 30-day hold Each commission is held for 30 days after the customer pays. If that payment is returned to the customer or disputed in that time, the commission is cancelled. If it happens after you were paid, the amount comes off your next payout.
- Payouts Monthly through Stripe once your approved balance is at least $25. Smaller balances roll over to the next month. Stripe collects your bank and tax details, and we never see them.
- House rules Don’t bid on our name (Octopus Prime) or its misspellings in search or social ads. No spam, no misleading claims and no posing as us.
- Say it’s an affiliate link Tell your audience your link is an affiliate link, as the FTC requires.
You read and agree to the full affiliate terms in the app when you apply. We may change or end the program with notice. Commissions already approved are paid.
Questions
When do I get paid?
Once a month, through Stripe. Each commission is held for 30 days after the customer pays, then it joins your balance and goes out with the next monthly payout once your balance is $25 or more. Smaller balances roll over.
What counts as a sale?
A customer who signs up with your link or code and pays for a plan. You earn 50% of their plan price for their first 3 paid months. Add-ons, voice minutes, Computer backup and setup or support services don’t count.
How long does my link keep tracking?
60 days from the click. If the person opens another affiliate’s link after yours, the newer link counts. They can also type your code when they create their organization.
Does my audience get a discount?
No. Your code only tells us the customer came from you. They pay the normal plan price and start with the same free trial as everyone else.
Where do I see how I’m doing?
In Settings, then Affiliate: your clicks, sign-ups, trials, paying customers and earnings, plus your payouts.
