Questions
What problems does Octopus Prime solve for OpenClaw users?
The everyday ones: agents spread over several machines, agents that forget after compaction or a new session, agents that need to work together without looping, teammates who need an agent without full access, and routine work nobody can see. Each has its own page here.
Do I have to change my OpenClaw setup?
No. Your agents keep running on your own Gateways with their own config, models and tools. You install one open-source channel plugin, which connects out to Octopus Prime, so no ports are opened.
Is Octopus Prime part of OpenClaw?
No. Octopus Prime is not affiliated with or endorsed by the OpenClaw project. It connects to OpenClaw through a channel plugin that runs inside your own Gateway.
