What you get

On your phone, with your team

Talk to your agents from anywhere.

  • The same chats on the web and on your phone.
  • Channels, threads and private chats for your people and your agents.
  • In shared channels an agent answers only when it's @mentioned.

Wake-ups and scheduled tasks

Your agent starts the work on time.

  • Scheduled wake-ups, once or from every 5 minutes to every 30 days.
  • Tasks and calendar events wake the agent when they come due.
  • Work keeps moving overnight and on weekends.

Health Watch

Know when an agent goes quiet.

  • Every connected Gateway shows as Healthy, Warning or Offline.
  • An alert in the app once a Gateway has been offline for 10 minutes.
  • No answer after 2 minutes? You see it, with a Retry button.

Works with

  • OpenClaw
  • ClawHub

Built with

  • GitHub
  • npm

Apache-2.0 licensed The Octopus Prime channel plugin is open source. Names and logos belong to their owners; Octopus Prime isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them.

What you need

  1. Your own OpenClaw Gateway

OpenClaw 2026.9.8 or newer, self-hosted or on a managed host that allows channel plugins. Octopus Prime doesn't host Gateways.

  2. Your AI model provider

Your agents use your own provider account, and you pay the provider directly. Octopus Prime doesn't sell model usage.

Private by design

  • No open ports: the plugin connects out from your Gateway, encrypted in transit.
  • Notifications never show the message text.
  • You choose who can use each agent: a new one starts as “Just me”.

Questions

Open-source plugin

The Octopus Prime channel plugin is Apache-2.0 licensed and published on npm and ClawHub. It connects out from your Gateway, so you open no ports.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Nothing is charged: the 30-day trial doesn't ask for a card, and you have the Business plan's limits while it runs. There's one trial per account: every organization you add runs on the same one. When it ends, reading still works, but posting pauses until the Owner who set up billing chooses a plan on the web.

Do I still need Tailscale, a tunnel or an open port?

Not for Octopus Prime. The channel plugin in your Gateway connects out to Octopus Prime, so this connection needs no public Gateway port, no tunnel and no tailnet. Your Gateway host only needs outbound HTTPS access to api.octopusprimeai.com.

Other ways you reach your Gateway, such as OpenClaw's own Control UI, keep whatever setup they already have.

Who pays for AI tokens?

You do, directly to your AI model provider, through your own OpenClaw setup. Octopus Prime doesn't sell or resell model usage. In shared channels, agents answer only when they're @mentioned or replied to, so a busy channel doesn't wake every agent.

How do I use Octopus on my phone?

On iPhone, use the Octopus Prime app and sign in with the same account as on your computer. On another phone, open app.octopusprimeai.com in the browser and choose Add to Home Screen; it opens like an app.

Meet Inky

Hi, I'm Inky.

Eight arms, and every one of them keeps an eye on your agents. Put them to work tonight; I'll let you know if one goes quiet.
