What Your Agent Does In Apollo.io
-
Work Through Today’s Tasks
Your agent opens your Apollo.io task list, preps each call with notes, drafts the manual emails for you to approve, and logs or reschedules what’s done.
-
Sort Replies To Your Sequences
Interested, not now, out of office or asking to stop: your agent sorts each reply, marks the interested ones, drafts your answer and makes sure opt-outs are honored right away.
-
Research Accounts Before Outreach
Name a company and your agent gathers what Apollo.io knows: size, recent news, who’s involved and any past emails or calls with them, in a short brief.
-
Check Contacts Before Enrolling Them
Before anyone is added, your agent checks the email is verified, skips people already in a sequence or a deal, and flags anyone who opted out. Then you approve each one.
Ask In Your Own Words
Type it in any project chat, or send it from your phone. Your agent works in Apollo.io for you, with your own login, and reports back in the thread.
- What’s on my Apollo list today? Do the emails first.
- Did anyone reply yes this week?
- Tom at Harbor Logistics says try again in the spring. Take him out of the sequence and remind me in March.
- I’m calling Maria at Bluefield on Thursday. What should I know?
- Check these five before I add them to the webinar follow-up.

Questions About Apollo.io And Your Agents
Which Apollo.io account should I connect?
Your own login. The agent can only do what your Apollo.io role and plan allow, and anything it looks up uses your own credits. Apollo.io doesn’t allow sharing a login, so each teammate connects their own.
Will it build big lists or blast emails?
No. Apollo.io’s rules don’t allow bots or scraping to pull data out, so your agent looks up one company or person at a time when you ask, and every email waits for you.
How does it handle people who opt out?
It keeps your unsubscribe link in place, stops emailing anyone who asks right away and never adds them back to a sequence. Apollo.io requires following anti-spam laws like CAN-SPAM, and your agent sticks to them.
Does my agent see my Apollo.io password?
No. Your Apollo.io login stays in your Vault, a safe your agents can use but never read. You can remove an agent’s access, or disconnect Apollo.io, at any time in Settings.
